TexasBank Volunteers Serve at Midwest Food Bank on Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Fort Worth, Texas — January 2026 — TexasBank team members honored Martin Luther King Jr. Day through service by volunteering at Midwest Food Bank, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to supporting local families and addressing food insecurity in the communities it serves.
During the volunteer event, TexasBank employees assisted with repackaging and sorting food that will be distributed to local food banks and nonprofit partners throughout the region. Midwest Food Bank supports more than 100 nonprofit organizations by providing bulk food at no cost, helping ensure essential resources reach vulnerable populations, including children, seniors, single-parent families, and veterans.
This volunteer effort reflects TexasBank’s ongoing dedication to community engagement and partnering with organizations that make a meaningful local impact.
Midwest Food Bank currently distributes more than $430 million worth of food annually to over 2,050 nonprofit organizations nationwide and stands ready to support disaster relief efforts by delivering food-filled relief boxes within 24 hours.
Through hands-on volunteerism and community partnerships, TexasBank continues to honor the spirit of service exemplified by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., reinforcing its commitment to strengthening communities and supporting organizations that provide critical assistance to those in need.
