“It is our great pleasure to recognize TexasBank. These awards celebrate the banks and bankers who have made a commitment to positively impact their communities,”

June 2026 – Austin, Texas
TexasBank has been selected as a recipient of the 2026 Cornerstone Award by the Texas Bankers Association for its TexasBank Touchdown Program.
The award was presented during a special awards luncheon at the Texas Bankers Association's 141st Annual Convention, recognizing Texas banks that demonstrate exceptional leadership and a commitment to strengthening the communities they serve.
The TexasBank Touchdown Program connects high school football with community giving by making donations based on touchdowns scored by participating teams. The funds are directed to non-athletic high school organizations such as band, choir, theater, academic clubs, and other student groups. Since the program's inception, the initiative has donated more than $65,000 to these organizations, extending the impact of each touchdown far beyond the football field.
"We're honored to receive this recognition from the Texas Bankers Association and Foundation," said Amy Gill, Vice President-Marketing Director for TexasBank. "Programs like this are what community banking is all about—not just talking about making a difference, but showing up and investing in the students and communities we serve every day."
"It is our great pleasure to recognize TexasBank. These awards celebrate the banks and bankers who have made a commitment to positively impact their communities," said Chris Furlow, president and CEO of the Texas Bankers Association. "We are honored to congratulate them on their efforts."
The Cornerstone Award honors Texas banks that make meaningful contributions to their communities through service, philanthropy, and innovative programs that improve quality of life.
