2021 Promotions and New Officers
TexasBank announces promotions and new officers.
Greg Dodds, President and CEO and L.V. Coffee, President, East Region of TexasBank recently announced several promotions as well as the addition of two new officers. Those changes included the following:
Katharine Demetruk has been promoted to Senior Vice President.
Katharine began her banking career 39 years ago with First National Bank Stephenville. Over the years, she has served in numerous account services, operations, lending, and management roles. She graduated from Stephenville High School and attended Tarleton University. Shortly thereafter, she met and married her husband, Patrick. Together they raised their two children and have two grandchildren. Katharine has actively volunteered and served on several local civic and non-profit organizations over the years. In Katharine’s role, she supervises retail services, customer services and oversees employee relations in Erath county.
Shannon Gober has been promoted to Vice President, Credit Operations.
Shannon Gober started with TexasBank in 1998 as a part-time teller. She grew quickly in her role and became a lead teller until transferring to the credit department in 2000. As the Credit and Loan Department Supervisor, Shannon ensures the accurate and timely servicing of the Bank's loan portfolio, overseeing the production of loan documentation relating to the opening, servicing, and closing of all loans, and ensuring loans and agreements comply with state and federal laws, regulations and Bank lending policies and procedures. Shannon has been married to husband Kirk for fourteen years and has two grown children and two handsome grandsons.
Daniel Hutson has been promoted to Senior Vice President.
Daniel Hutson graduated from Howard Payne University in 2008 and began his banking career quickly after at a local institution. He then went to work for the West Central Texas Council of Governments from 2010-2015 before beginning with TexasBank as an Assistant Vice President for Commercial Lending. As Senior Vice President, Daniel will continue to expand his relationships with the existing portfolio of clients he has established, as well as generate new lending opportunities across the communities TexasBank serves. Daniel is married to Emily and they have two young children. He serves as the current President for the Brownwood Municipal Development Board of Directors, Board of Directors for Junior Achievement in Abilene and serves as the Treasurer for Latch Key.
Kelli Raymond has been promoted to Vice President, Mortgage Lending
Raymond joined TexasBank-Stephenville in 2015. After graduating from Tarleton State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, she began her now 21-year career in banking which includes experience with Bank of America, CitiBank, and First Financial Bank. As the mortgage lender in Erath county, Kelli offers TexasBank’s full-service mortgage platform with local servicing which allows her to give customers the best fixed rates available. Kelli and her husband Josh live in Stephenville and have two amazing young boys.
Amy Seymour has been promoted to Bank Officer.
Amy Seymour graduated with a Bachelor of Communication in 2008 from Angelo State University. While in college, she began her banking career as a part-time teller. After graduation, Amy moved to San Antonio to begin a marketing career with a Property Management firm. For the last 13 years, Amy has served in various roles in marketing, advertising, and public relations. Upon moving back to her hometown of Brownwood in 2016, Amy began with TexasBank as the Marketing Coordinator. Her responsibilities include the creation and management of corporate events, community relations, public relations, social media, website management, communications, and advertising. Amy is the proud mom of two small boys and serves as Vice Chairwoman on the Pregnancy Care Center Board of Directors.

The tremendous amount of growth and success that TexasBank has experienced in the Brown and Erath County markets over the past several years is a direct result of their leadership and can-do attitudes”.
Dodds also introduced Doyle Cooper, Senior Vice President and Erick Owens, Chief Technology/Information Officer.
Doyle Cooper joined the TexasBank team in the fall of 2020 as a Commercial Lender. Cooper’s career in banking began in 1989 with Comerica Bank in Dallas, Texas. Most recently, he has spent time at First Financial Bank in Glen Rose as location President and opened a new location in Sherman, Texas for First State Bank. He is also a graduate from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. Cooper has served civically in the communities he has worked with involvement in Kiwanis International, the Lions Club, and the National Exchange Club. He has also served on various boards from Chamber of Commerce’s, Education Foundations, Economic Development and Transportation. Doyle and his wife Gina have lived in the surrounding area since 2016. They have raised three sons, and two daughters and now have 6 wonderful grandchildren.

Coffee continued, “We have been fortunate to hire seasoned banking professionals that share common values and ethics. Doyle is a great complement to the strong team of bankers we have hired in Erath County over the last seven years.”
Erick began with TexasBank in December 2020 after a successful Information Technology career in Lubbok, TX. A 2010 graduate of Wayland Baptist University, Erick began his IT career at South Plains College as a support technician. As his career grew, he moved into network administration and then landed at AimBank in 2013. As the Senior Vice President of Information Technology and Security at AimBank, he served over 350 employees and oversaw the planning, design, management, and implementation of network/telecom and software/hardware infrastructures. Erick is excited to be a part of the TexasBank team saying, “My wife and I came to Brownwood for the small-town community, feel, and vibe. TexasBank is a true community bank with big bank goals and dreams for their customers. I am most looking forward to being a part of that growing vision for our surrounding communities”.
